Brenda had tried several therapies before coming to Capital Interventional Pain & Spine Center. Her constant pain made it very difficult for her to move. Based on our assessment and an explanation of her goals, we recommended a spinal cord stimulator implant. Our close collaboration with patients enables us to explore minimally invasive options that are highly effective. The spinal cord stimulator presented Brenda with a way forward. Once implanted, she responded to treatment almost immediately, meaning our choice was a match to her condition. Beyond her physical advancement, her determination was a lot higher. Brenda accepted the rehabilitation and began monitoring her steps to track her progress. Her gradual increase in movement verified our approach and showed how not only the patient but also the family must be involved.
