Why Capital Interventional Pain & Spine Center for mPNS?

FDA-Cleared Technology
We use the Axon Neuralace mPNS system, which is FDA-cleared for chronic, post-traumatic, and post-surgical pain. We are the only group in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area offering this treatment.

Non-Invasive and Comfortable
Treatments are performed externally using magnetic pulses. There is no pain during the procedure, and sessions typically last 15–30 minutes.

Reduced Medication Dependence
Many patients are able to reduce or even discontinue certain pain medications under medical supervision.

Customized Treatment Plans
Every patient’s pain is unique. Our physicians evaluate your medical history and symptoms to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What Your Treatment Actually Looks Like

Initial Visit
You’ll complete intake forms and discuss your pain history and previous treatments.

Medical Evaluation
A physician reviews your medical background, examines you, and determines whether mPNS is appropriate. If so, your personalized treatment plan is created.

Treatment Schedule
Most patients begin with:
- Three sessions in the first week
- Weekly sessions through the first month
- Twice monthly sessions during the second and third month.

Maintenance
Once pain improves, maintenance treatments every 2–8 weeks help keep symptoms controlled. Your schedule is adjusted based on progress.
Is This Actually Right for You?
